The building seemed very much like an old high school. In the entry area, there were completely separate information and check-in counters for the pool and the rink, which meant they needed twice the staff. This made us think that consolidation of our welcome desk would be a good idea (pool, rink, fitness, program registration, etc.).

Although ozone purifies the water in the pool, we noticed a strong odour of chlorine. The pool and the rink have both been refurbished at different times. The pool seemed to us to be quite noisy; noise seemed to bounce all around the facility. There are very big windows in pool area creating a lot of glare that affects lifeguards and their ability to see what’s happening in the water.
