I began my relationship with Britannia facilitating the adult pottery program at Britannia Community Centre well over 20 years ago. And have continued to expand into more community art programs such as Toddler Art, Clay for Children, Banner Painting, and a Knitting Series. I also continue to lead numerous Britannia art-making workshops at Special Events and Festivals.
I now also work with the Community Schools HUB at Britannia Secondary to deliver lunchtime and after-school programming to students at Grandview, Britannia, and Strathcona Elementary schools in knitting, crochet, clay sculpture, jewellery, and mixed media. Over the years, I have led and participated in many community-art endeavours, including the Britannia Oval mural with Britannia Secondary.
